Vajogobindo is a station master and his wife is the chairperson of Nityakali women's association. When there was chaos between Gopi Mitra and a member of the women's association over a piece of gourd Nityakali's father proved with the evidence of the court order that he had bought land for a gourd tree named after his daughter Nityakali. Therefore, Nityakali deserves gourd.
