In 1953 London, a weary civil servant trapped in a monotonous life receives a sudden terminal diagnosis that forces him to confront his mortality, igniting a quest for purpose. Amidst the bureaucracy and loneliness, he embarks on a poignant journey, determined to find meaning and fulfillment before time slips away. 'Living' is adapted from the 1952 Japanese movie 'Ikiru', which was inspired by an 1886 Russian novella by Leo Tolstoy. It stars Bill Nighy, Aimee Lou Wood, Alex Sharp and Tom Burke.
