A wise old villager named Anna and his idealistic accomplice-cum-postman, Dattu try to convince the villagers to do the right thing when corruption is rampant in the political system. His adamant nature causes the village to lose out on many government schemes. Meanwhile, Anna makes political enemies who feel that he's a deterrent to their political ambitions. Chaos ensues when Anna suddenly passes away while openly defecating in the village.
