Rajakannu (Manikandan) and Sengani (Lijomol Jose), a couple who live at Konamalai near Viluppuram. They belong to the Irular tribe, and despite their poverty they are contented and happy. Their happiness is dashed when cops come in search of Rajakannu over a robbery. Things become quite serious after a while as Rajaknnu absconds from the jail. A distressed Chinnatalli approaches a sincere lawyer Chandru(Suriya) to help her in the case. A righteous lawyer who fights for the downtrodden.
