"The story is about the love story of Lakshmi, sister of a corrupt lawyer, who is also the Deewaan (an official who works for the state, in-charge of looking after the financial affairs of the king of a princely state) and Maadho Singh, who is a naval officer. Deewaan has his sights set on the treasures held by the state. He constantly distracts the king and confuses him with the help of alcohol and the charms of a courtesan named, Rajni. Deewaan and his close associate’s finds allies in a smuggler named, Sevak Ram and a dishonest cop. Deewaan and his associates kills the king by poisoning him using Rajni. Maadho Singh is falsely framed of poisoning the king, as he has always considered to be a hurdle for their smuggling activities. Maadho Singh has to serve life imprisonment, while the Deewaan arranges Lakshmi’s marriage with the dishonest cop, who is also his right hand in all his evil doings. Maadho Singh is able break free from jail after ten long years and then he manages to amass a huge amount of wealth, making him capable enough to settle scores with the Deewan, his associates and the cop who had falsely framed him. He makes his way back into their lives under a new name and starts punishing them one by one. Nobody, except Lakshmi is able to identify him, who is also a mother to a grown up daughter now. Situation takes such a turn that her lover, who is a fake prince gets trapped for a murder he never committed. Maadho Singh seeks the help of an honest cop, who also used to be a lawyer, to fight the case and protect the innocent man .This case leads to the reopening of Madhoo Singh’s case and after a brilliant courtroom drama, Maadho Singh’s thirst for revenge gets quenched. Eventually, at the end, Maadho Singh gets killed by his ex-flame Lakshmi.
